Zachary Lawless
was born and raised in the Pocono Mountains
of Pennsylvania.
"Growing up in the small town of Mountainhome I've
learned that imagination is a very important part of the human
spirit and portraying it is even more so. I've had plenty
of different hobbies and interests throughout my lifetime
but music has always remained a huge part of my day to day
life. Without it I'd go crazy."
"I
bought my first guitar right after graduating highschool
and I was hooked. I played in a few different bands until
I decided to venture out on my own."
Zac has been playing professionally around Northeast Pa &
New Jersey for the past four years. He brings a fresh blend
of rock, blues, folk, hip hop, funk and soul to the stage.
Armed with his guitar and harmonica techniques along with
his unique vocals he plays a variaty of musical styles which
he likes to call...
"acoustic blue
folk funk for the soul."
" As for musical inspiration, there are just
too many to name them all. I try to listen to as many different
kinds of music as I can. Some of my influences include: Bob
Dylan, The Greatful Dead, James Brown, The Beatles, Bill Withers,
Bob Marley, The Doors, Ben Harper, B.B. King, Jack Johnson,
G-Love & Special Sauce, Harry Chapin, Jane's Addiction,
Pearl Jam,Blues Traveler, Van Morrison, Sublime & Marvin
Gaye just to name a few. And of course the
countless number of extremely talented local artists from
the Pocono, Scranton & Philadelphia areas." |
